Patios Driveways in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Are you looking for the classic look of block paving, or perhaps the sleek, modern finish of a resin-bound surface? Every home is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to groundworks. We specialise in a range of high-quality finishes including traditional block paving, resin-bound gravel, and hard-wearing tarmac. Block paving is a fantastic choice if you want intricate patterns and the ability to easily repair a small area if a pipe ever needs fixing underneath. On the other hand, resin is becoming incredibly popular across Gloucestershire because it looks stunning and is naturally permeable, meaning you don't get those annoying puddles after a typical British downpour. We use good-quality materials because the local weather can be a bit of a challenge. Our team ensures every edge is perfectly haunched and every stone is level, so you won't be dealing with shifting blocks or sinking patches five years down the line.

Imagine it's a sunny Saturday afternoon and you've got the BBQ going on a beautiful, level Indian Sandstone patio. It feels like an extra room for the house, doesn't it? Many Tewkesbury gardens have old, slippery concrete slabs that haven't been touched in a long time. We love transforming these 'mud-pits' into stunning entertainment spaces. If you've recently installed bi-fold doors, we can create a seamless transition from your kitchen to the garden using vitrified porcelain tiles, making your living space feel twice as big. From the natural, unique colour variations of sandstone to the ultra-low maintenance of modern porcelain, we'll help you pick a stone that complements your home's character. It's not just about looks, though; we make sure the 'fall' or gradient of the patio is spot-on, so rainwater always runs away from your walls and never towards them.

It might not be the most glamorous part of the job, but what happens under the surface is what determines if your project succeeds or fails. Because we are builders and carpenters, we bring a level of structural precision to landscaping that you won't always find with standard contractors. We use a heavy-duty sub-base of MOT Type 1 stone, compacted properly to ensure it can take the weight of your vehicles without budging. Living in an area like Tewkesbury, you also have to think about drainage. We plan for SUDs (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems), so your new driveway or patio manages water runoff correctly. Whether it's installing Aco drains to catch surface water or using permeable membranes to prevent weed growth, we do the job properly the first time. You won't have to worry about planning permission headaches or damp issues caused by poor installation—we've got it all covered.

Why choose a builder for your patio or driveway? It’s simple: we understand the bones of your property. We don't just look at the garden in isolation; we look at how it interacts with your home's foundations and damp-proof course. We cover Tewkesbury and nearby villages for patios and driveways. We pride ourselves on being reliable, turning up when we say we will, and leaving the site immaculate at the end of every day. We know that having work done can be disruptive, so we work efficiently to get your new space ready as quickly as possible without ever cutting corners. If you're ready to stop dreaming about a new garden and start building one, we're here to help. We offer a site survey where we can look at your space, discuss your ideas, and provide a transparent quote with no hidden extras. Let's create an outdoor space you can actually be proud of.
