Patios Driveways in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Most homeowners worry about two things: how it looks and how long it'll actually last. There’s nothing more frustrating than a driveway that starts sinking or rutting after the first heavy winter. That’s why we don't just focus on the top layer. We’re obsessed with the stuff you can't see—the sub-base. By using a thick layer of MOT Type 1 stone and high-quality membranes, we ensure your driveway can handle the weight of your cars without shifting. From traditional block paving that fits the local Cotswold aesthetic to sleek, permeable resin-bound gravel, we’ll help you pick a style that’s both durable and SUDs compliant, so you don't have to worry about drainage or planning red tape.

Imagine opening your bi-fold doors on a sunny morning and stepping out onto a perfectly level, stylish patio that feels like a natural extension of your kitchen. That’s the 'seamless transition' we love to create. We work with a huge range of materials, from the earthy, unique tones of Indian Sandstone to ultra-modern vitrified porcelain. If you're tired of scrubbing moss off old slabs, porcelain is a game-changer—it’s virtually maintenance-free and incredibly slip-resistant. We’ll manage the entire process, ensuring the fall and gradient are spot on so that rainwater moves away from your house, not towards it. Ready to turn that unused corner of the garden into a proper seating area?

Why hire a building company like DP Carpentry and Building LTD for your landscaping? It comes down to structural precision. Because we’re builders, we bring more technical detail to groundworks than your average gardener might. We understand the physics of a site. This means we install proper Aco drains to manage runoff and use correct haunching to make sure your edgings never move. We treat your garden with the same structural respect we’d give a home extension. It’s about doing the hard work properly at the start so you aren't calling us back in three years to fix a wobbly path.

We cover Cheltenham, Leckhampton and Prestbury for patios and driveways, and we know we're only as good as our last job. We're not a 'fly-by-night' outfit; we're based right here in Cheltenham. We pride ourselves on keeping a tidy site—we know how stressful living through building work can be, so we make sure we aren't leaving a mud-pit behind at the end of the day. You’ll get a clear, itemised quote with no hidden 'surprises' halfway through. Just honest, high-quality surfacing from a team that genuinely cares about getting the details right for local homeowners.
