New Builds in Cirencester, Gloucestershire

We've all heard the horror stories about new builds—paper-thin walls, wonky skirting boards, and a 'snagging list' that seems to go on forever. When you work with us, we ditch the cookie-cutter approach. Because our roots are in carpentry, we bring a level of precision to the structural shell and the interior finish that large-scale developers often skip over. Whether it’s a contemporary home with clean lines or a traditional stone-clad property designed to blend into the Cirencester landscape, we focus on high-spec materials and a 'snag-free' philosophy. Why settle for 'good enough' when you can have a home that’s been crafted by hand?

A great home starts with what you can’t see once the plasterboard goes up. We handle all the heavy lifting of 'First Fix' carpentry, ensuring the skeleton of your house is rock solid. Imagine walking through your build and seeing perfectly aligned floor joists, sturdy roof trusses, and precisely positioned stud walls. We work closely with your architectural drawings to make sure every door lining and structural timber is exactly where it needs to be. It’s this meticulous attention to the shell and core that prevents squeaky floors or cracked plaster down the line. We take care of the groundworks too, so the project starts on a level playing field—literally.

Once the walls are up and the rooms are formed, that’s when the real magic happens. Our 'Second Fix' carpentry is where we really shine. This is about the details you touch and see every day: the weight of a solid internal door, the crisp lines of the architraves, and the perfectly mitred corners of your skirting boards. We can even integrate bespoke joinery like custom staircases or built-in media units right from the start. Ever noticed how some new houses feel a bit 'hollow'? By using premium materials and traditional techniques, we give your new build a sense of permanence and character that you won't find on a standard building site.

Building in Cirencester often comes with its own set of rules, especially if you're working within conservation areas or near listed buildings. The local planning process in Gloucestershire can feel like a bit of a maze, can't it? We understand the 'Cotswold look' and can advise on the right materials to satisfy both the planners and your own personal taste. We don't just build houses; we build homes that respect the unique architectural heritage of our local area.
