Why Choose Our Home Renovation & Carpentry Services?
Structural expertise for open living
Thinking about knocking through a load-bearing wall? It’s the fastest way to transform a dark, cramped house into a bright, open-plan home. We handle all the heavy structural work, from calculating the right RSJs to the actual installation. Because we're skilled carpenters first, we’re always thinking three steps ahead to the second-fix stage. This means when we're putting in stud walls or floor joists, we're doing it with the final finish in mind. You won't find us leaving wonky angles for the plasterers to hide; we get the basics right so the final result is flawless.
Kitchens designed for local life
We all know the kitchen is where everyone ends up during a party. If yours is feeling a bit 1990s, our kitchen fitting service can help you create a space that’s actually a joy to cook in. We don't just fit kitchens; we manage the whole transformation. From ripping out the old units to first-fix plumbing and electrics, we take care of it all. We can even create bespoke cabinetry or fitted shelving to make use of those tricky gaps Stroud houses are famous for. Imagine finally having enough space for the recycling, the coffee machine, and the kids' homework without feeling cluttered.
Navigating Stroud's building challenges
Building in Gloucestershire isn't always straightforward, especially with our steep hills and conservation area rules. Whether you're planning house extensions or a renovation in the heart of Stroud, we know what the local building regs officers are looking for. If your project needs planning permission, we can help guide you through the process, making sure your plans aren't just beautiful, but also compliant and safe.
Clean sites, clear communication
You are probably worried about two things: the mess and the final bill. We get it. That’s why we pride ourselves on being the tidiest builders in Stroud. We treat your home like a home, not just a construction site, ensuring we're packed away and clean at the end of every day. When it comes to cost, we provide fully itemised, transparent quotes. You’ll know exactly where your money is going, from the brickwork and groundworks to the final coat of paint. No hidden extras, just honest work from a local team you can trust.
