Home Renovations in Gloucester, Gloucestershire

When we talk about house refurbishments, we aren't just talking about a lick of paint. We're talking about a total rethink of how your home works for you. You might love your location but hate your layout. That's where we come in. We specialise in structural alterations—think knocking through that restrictive wall between the kitchen and dining room to create the open-plan living space you've always wanted. We handle the installation of RSJs (steel beams) and ensure everything is structurally sound and damp-proofed. From the initial 'shell and core' stage to the final decorating, our team manages the whole process. This means you don't have to worry about chasing different trades; we coordinate the plumbers, sparkies, and plasterers so you can just focus on choosing your colour schemes.

The kitchen really is the heart of the home, isn't it? It's where the school forms get signed and the Sunday roasts are prepped. Our kitchen fitting service is designed to take the stress out of what is notoriously a messy job. We've installed everything from high-end bespoke designs to practical, sturdy setups for busy families. And it's not just kitchens; our bathroom installation service follows the same high standard. Imagine swapping that leaky, dated suite for a walk-in rainfall shower and sleek tiling. Because we started as carpenters, our second-fix work—the bits you actually see and touch, like the skirting boards and architrave—is always precise. We know that building work can be disruptive, so we make it our mission to keep the site tidy and keep you updated every single day.

What does a 'managed service' actually mean for you? It means peace of mind. We take care of the 'first-fix' carpentry, like building the stud walls and floor joists, all the way through to the 'snagging' list at the very end. We aren't the type of Gloucester builders who disappear halfway through a job. We're there from Monday morning until the final bit of sawdust is swept up. We provide transparent, itemised quotes so you know exactly where your hard-earned money is going. No hidden 'extras' or nasty surprises. Our goal is to make the process as smooth as the finish on our bespoke cabinetry.

Gloucester has a fantastic mix of architecture, but it does come with its own set of challenges. Whether you're in a conservation area or dealing with a period property in the city centre, we'll check the local rules first. We'll help you understand building control and planning permission requirements. We aim for sympathetic restoration—keeping the character of a property while bringing the insulation and layout into the 21st century. If you're looking at property maintenance or a full-scale domestic extension, we'll make sure the work is compliant and adds genuine value to your home. It's about making sure your investment today pays off for years to come in both comfort and property price.
