Fitted Bedrooms in Gloucester, Gloucestershire

We've all seen those 'one-size-fits-all' wardrobes from the big national retailers. They look okay in the showroom, but once they're in your room, you're often left with awkward gaps at the top that just collect dust or a weird space at the side that's too small for anything useful. Because we're local carpenters, not just installers, we do things differently. We use a 'scribe-to-wall' technique, meaning your furniture follows the exact lines of your room—even if your walls are a bit wonky (which, let’s face it, most Gloucester homes are!). From the internal carcass to the final door handle, every piece is handcrafted to fit your space perfectly, giving you more storage than a free-standing wardrobe.

Does your bedroom have a chimney breast creating two narrow alcoves, or perhaps you've got a loft conversion with sloping eaves that seem impossible to furnish? These 'dead spaces' are exactly where bespoke joinery shines. Instead of trying to find a cabinet that almost fits, we build floor-to-ceiling storage that utilises every millimetre of height. We can integrate dual-height hanging rails for shirts and dresses, pull-out shoe racks, and even hidden compartments for your valuables. By working with the natural architecture of your Gloucestershire home rather than against it, we turn those tricky corners into the most functional parts of the room.

Whether you're dreaming of a timeless Shaker-style aesthetic with traditional cornicing or a sleek, modern minimalist look with push-to-open doors, the choice is entirely yours. We don't believe in limiting your options. You can pick the exact internal configurations that suit your wardrobe—maybe you need more drawers for knitwear or integrated LED lighting so you can actually see what you're picking out on a dark winter morning. We also offer various finishes, from hand-painted wood to high-quality laminates, ensuring your new fitted bedroom feels like a natural extension of your home's character.

There’s nothing worse than a builder who leaves a trail of sawdust across your carpets. We take pride in being reliable and tidy, and our Google reviews mention it again and again. When we're working in your home, we treat it with the respect it deserves, using dust extraction and floor protection to keep things clean. As a team of skilled Gloucestershire tradespeople, we handle the whole project from the initial design to the final second-fix carpentry. You won't have to worry about coordinating different contractors; we manage the process from start to finish, keeping you informed every step of the way with transparent pricing and no hidden surprises.
