Fitted Bedrooms in Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Transform your Cirencester bedroom into a peaceful sanctuary
Ever feel like your bedroom is less of a retreat and more of a storage struggle? We've all been there – staring at a pile of shoes that won't fit in the wardrobe or trying to jam a bulky high-street chest of drawers into a corner where it just doesn't belong. In a town as beautiful as Cirencester, our homes should be our havens, not places where we battle with clutter. Whether you're living in a classic Cotswold stone cottage or a more modern build near the town centre, we're here to help you reclaim your space. At DP Carpentry and Building LTD, we don't just 'fit' furniture; we design and hand-build solutions that make your morning routine smoother and your evenings more relaxing.

How it works in three simple steps
First, you tell us about your project. Call us or send a message through the form on this page. A few lines and your postcode is plenty to start.
Next, we come out to see you. We look at the space, listen to what you want and talk through the options. Then you get a detailed quote, so you know exactly where you stand.
Finally, once you are happy, we get to work. We keep you updated as the job goes, keep the site tidy and clean up when we finish.
That's it. No pressure and no jargon. Just clear answers and good work.
Why Choose Our Bespoke Fitted Bedrooms & Wardrobes?
Ditch the flat-pack for bespoke Cirencester craftsmanship
Why settle for 'good enough' when you can have a wardrobe that was literally made for your room? Those big-brand, off-the-shelf wardrobes often leave awkward gaps at the top that just collect dust, or they stop a few inches short of the wall. We do things differently. Our team uses a technique called 'scribe-to-wall,' meaning we cut and shape every piece of timber to follow the exact lines of your home. If your floors are a bit wonky or your walls aren't perfectly straight (which, let's face it, is most of Cirencester!), our built-in furniture will still look like it grew there. It's about using every single millimetre from floor to ceiling, giving you more storage than a free-standing wardrobe.
Storage solutions for every awkward corner and alcove
Do you have a chimney breast that makes placing furniture a nightmare, or a loft conversion with sloping ceilings that seems impossible to use? These are exactly the kinds of puzzles we love to solve. We specialise in turning those 'dead spaces' into the most functional parts of your home. Imagine a set of bespoke alcove units that perfectly frame your fireplace, or a walk-in wardrobe tucked under the eaves of your roof. We can even integrate your bedroom renovation with wider work, like if you're planning a loft conversion or a home extension, ensuring the cabinetry is part of the 'second fix' for a seamless finish.
Designed around the way you actually live
What does your dream wardrobe look like on the inside? For some, it's all about dual-height hanging rails for shirts and dresses; for others, it's a dedicated place for a growing shoe collection or integrated LED lighting that makes finding your favourite jumper a breeze. We sit down with you to plan the internal configurations that suit your lifestyle. You can choose from a range of styles too, from the timeless look of Shaker-style doors that suit period properties to sleek, modern minimalist finishes for a contemporary feel. We use high-quality carcasses and sturdy cabinetry that's built to last, not flimsy backboards that pop out after a year of use. It’s about creating something that's as durable as it is beautiful.
Your local, reliable building partner in the Cotswolds
Choosing someone to work in your home is a big deal, and we don't take that trust lightly. Unlike the big national showrooms, we're a local team, and we cover Cirencester and nearby villages. We pride ourselves on being reliable, turning up when we say we will, and leaving your home as tidy as we found it. Our pricing is completely transparent – no hidden 'extras' or pushy sales tactics here. Ready to stop dreaming about a tidy bedroom and start living in one? Give us a shout today for a quote and let's have a chat about what we can build for you.
