Fitted Bedrooms in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Most off-the-shelf wardrobes stop short of the ceiling, leaving a massive gap that just collects dust and old suitcases. That's a waste of prime real estate. Our wardrobes are built to the full height of your room, giving you more storage than a free-standing wardrobe. We use a 'scribe-to-wall' technique, meaning we hand-cut the timber to follow the exact contour of your skirting boards and cornicing. Inside, it’s all about your lifestyle. Want double-height hanging rails, pull-out shoe racks, or integrated LED lighting so you can actually find your favourite jumper on a dark winter morning? We’ll design the internal cabinetry exactly how you need it.

Loft conversions are brilliant for adding value to your Gloucestershire home, but they often leave you with awkward sloping ceilings that standard furniture just can't handle. That's where our carpentry skills really shine. We thrive on the 'difficult' jobs that national showrooms shy away from. We can build wardrobes into the eaves or create bespoke alcove units that frame your chimney breast perfectly. It’s about turning that 'dead space' into a beautiful feature. Imagine having a home sanctuary where everything has its place, and the room feels twice as big because the clutter is finally hidden away.

Choosing a builder is a big deal, and we don't take that lightly. Unlike the big national chains, we’re a small, dedicated team based right here in Cheltenham. We’re not just fitting doors; we’re managing the whole project. If a wall needs moving or an extra socket is required for your new bedside media unit, we handle the first and second-fix work ourselves. You won't have to chase five different tradespeople. We pride ourselves on being tidy, arriving when we say we will, and providing transparent quotes with zero hidden 'surprises' at the end. It's just honest, high-quality building work from people who care about doing the job properly.

Ready to stop fighting with your furniture? Whether you’ve got a clear vision of a sleek, modern minimalist look or you want a traditional Shaker style to match your period home, we’re here to help. We offer a consultation where we’ll chat through your ideas, measure up, and figure out the best way to make your bedroom work for you. From initial design to the final handle being fitted, we’re with you every step of the way. Give us a call at DP Carpentry and Building LTD, and let’s turn that cluttered room into the functional, beautiful sanctuary you deserve.
