Bespoke Kitchen Design Installation in Painswick, Gloucestershire

Why settle for mass-produced chipboard when you could have handmade kitchens built to last? One of the biggest challenges in local homes is the age of the buildings. We take care with scribing, the delicate process of hand-shaping a cupboard or worktop so it sits flush against an uneven wall. It's a skill that's becoming a bit of a lost art, but it’s what makes the difference between a kitchen that looks like it was dropped into a room and one that looks like it belongs there.

From the timeless look of a Shaker style door to the sleek feel of solid timber, quartz, or granite worktops, we help you pick materials that don't just look stunning on day one but stand up to years of family life. We use traditional joinery techniques because they’re simply better. When you pull open a drawer we've built, you'll feel the weight and quality of real wood and proper craftsmanship. It's an investment in your home that adds genuine value, both to your property price and your morning coffee routine.

Does the thought of coordinating plumbers, electricians, tilers, and floor layers make your head spin? Often the biggest stress isn't the design. It's the 'project management'. That’s why we offer a completely seamless, end-to-end service. You won't have to chase three different trades to find out why the sink isn't in yet. We handle everything.

• Initial Design: We'll sit down with you to map out your vision, whether that's a sprawling kitchen island or a compact, efficient layout.
• Structural Work: If you want to knock through a wall to create an open-plan diner, we've got the building expertise to do it safely.
• First & Second Fix: We manage all the 'behind the scenes' stuff - the plumbing and electrics - before our carpenters move in for the final, beautiful finishing touches.
• The Final Polish: We don't leave until every door is perfectly hung and the site is immaculate.

We're local builders based in Cheltenham, and we take pride in our work. We turn up when we say we will, and we treat your home with the respect it deserves.

Living in the 'Queen of the Cotswolds' is a privilege, but it does come with a bit of paperwork if you're planning major changes. If your home is a listed building or sits within Painswick’s conservation area, you might be wondering about planning permissions or building regulations. It can feel a bit overwhelming, can't it?

We will check what the local council expects before work starts. We can work alongside your architect or help guide you through the requirements for sympathetic renovations. We make sure that while your kitchen is modern and functional on the inside, it remains perfectly in keeping with the character of your home on the outside. We’re all about preserving that local charm while giving you the luxury kitchen you've always wanted.
