Bespoke Kitchen Design Installation in Northleach, Gloucestershire

Have you ever noticed how 'standard' kitchen units always seem to leave an awkward six-inch gap at the end of a run? It's a waste of space and a total dust-trap. Because we specialise in handcrafted cabinetry, we don't have those limits. We can build units to the exact millimetre. If you have a wonky wall in an old Northleach terrace—and let's be honest, most of them are—we use a technique called scribing. This involves hand-cutting the timber to follow the exact curve of your wall for a seamless, built-in look. You get more storage, better flow, and a kitchen that looks like it was born to be in that room.

We're firm believers that a kitchen should be built to last, not just five years until the laminate starts peeling. That’s why we focus on real joinery and premium materials. From timeless Shaker-style doors to solid timber drawers with dovetail joints, the quality is something you can feel every time you open a cupboard. We work with everything from durable solid oak to stunning quartz and granite worktops. It's about combining that traditional craftsmanship with the modern bits we all love—like soft-close hinges and clever pull-out larder units. What's your style? Are you leaning towards a classic country look or something sleek and minimalist?

The biggest headache with a new kitchen is usually trying to coordinate five different tradespeople who never seem to turn up on the same day. We’ve heard the horror stories! With DP Carpentry and Building LTD, you can put the kettle on and relax because we handle the lot. Our team takes care of the 'first fix'—that’s the structural work, plumbing, and electrics—all the way through to the 'second fix' where the magic happens and the doors go on. We even handle the tiling and flooring. You’ll have one point of contact, a tidy workspace, and a clear timeline. No chasing plumbers, no stress, just a beautiful new heart for your home.

We cover Northleach and the wider Cotswolds, and we'll design around the character of your home. If you're in a listed building or a conservation area, you might be worried about regulations or sympathetic designs. We know how to navigate those hurdles, ensuring your renovation adds real value to your property while respecting its character. We aim to be the kind of builders you're happy to have in your home.
