Bathroom Renovations in Newent, Gloucestershire

It's natural to worry about what's going on underneath the surface, and you're right to. A pretty bathroom is useless if the sub-floor preparation isn't spot on or the joists are rotting. Unlike a standard shop-fitter, we approach your renovation with a builder’s eye. If we need to move a load-bearing wall to create that dream walk-in shower or reinforce the floor for a heavy stone bath, we have the structural expertise to do it properly. We manage the entire first fix stage, ensuring your plumbing and electrics are tucked away safely and meet all current Building Regulations. It's about peace of mind, knowing that the finish you see on top is supported by solid work underneath.

Let’s be honest, standard shop-bought cabinets rarely fit the awkward alcoves or sloping ceilings often found in Forest of Dean homes. This is where our carpentry roots really give you an edge. Why settle for a generic vanity unit when we can build you a bespoke floating vanity that fits your space to the millimetre? We love creating recessed niches in shower walls—perfect for keeping your shampoos off the floor—and clever under-stairs storage for those extra towels. We can even design hidden cupboards that blend into the wall, giving you a sleek, high-end finish that keeps the clutter out of sight. It's these small, thoughtful touches that turn a standard bathroom into a space that feels truly personal and exceptionally functional.

Are you thinking about ditching the old bathtub for a sleek, modern wet room? It’s a fantastic way to make a small bathroom feel twice the size, but it has to be done right. The key is 'tanking'—a professional waterproofing process that ensures your house stays bone-dry while you enjoy your morning scrub. We specialise in creating level-access walk-in showers that look incredible and are much easier to keep clean than old-fashioned cubicles. We’ll help you choose the right brassware, from rainfall showerheads to thermostatic valves that keep the temperature just right. Whether you're looking for a P-shaped bath for the kids or a minimalist glass-screen shower, we'll make sure the layout works for your daily routine, not against it.

One of the biggest headaches of home improvements is trying to coordinate different trades. You don't want to be the middleman between a plumber, an electrician, and a tiler. When you work with us, you get a single point of contact. We take care of everything: the initial strip-out, disposing of your old sanitaryware, professional tiling, and even the final decorating. We pride ourselves on being reliable and tidy; we know we’re working in your home, not a building site. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way, ensuring the project stays on budget and finishes on time. From choosing the right grout colour to installing underfloor heating for those chilly Gloucestershire winters, we've got you covered. Ready to start planning your new bathroom in Newent?
